One line of code · any online shop
Your best clip, in the corner of every product page.
Photos tell a shopper what a product looks like. A few seconds of video tell them what it is actually like. Embedded Video plays one quietly in the corner of your product page — and when someone taps it, it fills their screen with sound.

Add your video
Drag in a file straight off your phone or camera. We take it from there, including the still picture that shows before it starts playing.
Publish it when you are happy
Until you do, it stays private. You can watch it in the dashboard as many times as you like without adding a single view to your numbers.
Paste one line into your theme
The dashboard writes the line for you. Paste it in once and every page using that theme has the player. You will not need to do it again.

The line itself
There is nothing in that line to get wrong. It names no server, so nothing pasted into your theme can send your shoppers somewhere it should not.
Built to sell, not to interrupt.

It sits where you put it
Pick a corner and how far in from the edge. It keeps clear of your header and your basket button, and it never lands on top of the thing a shopper was about to click.

One tap for the whole screen
In the corner it loops quietly with no sound. Tapped, it grows out of that corner to fill the screen, with sound and the normal video controls.

Easy to get rid of
A shopper can close it and carry on. A small “Show video” button stays behind in case they change their mind, and it picks up where they stopped rather than starting again.

Any shape of video
Filmed upright on a phone or wide on a camera, the player takes the shape of your clip. Turn the phone and it re-fits itself.

Well behaved
Never any sound until someone asks for it. It keeps clear of the notch on a phone, it works for people using a keyboard, and it stops moving altogether for anyone whose device asks for less motion.

You can see what it did
Four numbers for every clip: how often it was shown, how often it played, how often someone opened it full screen, and how often someone closed it.
If you would rather it counted nothing at all, turn that off in the same line of code. If you use a cookie banner, it can wait for that instead. Either way it puts nothing on your shopper’s device — no cookie, no tracker, nothing that follows them anywhere.
It cannot touch the rest of your shop.
The player runs inside a sealed box of its own. Your shop is on one side of the wall and the video is on the other, and the shopper’s own web browser is what keeps them apart — not a promise from us.
So even in the worst case — someone breaks into our player completely — the thing they have broken into still cannot:
- ✕read anything a customer types, including their card details
- ✕see what is in the basket, or who is logged in
- ✕change your page, or send one of your forms
- ✕move a shopper somewhere else, or open a window over your shop
- ✕talk to anywhere except the three addresses we publish
The only piece of ours that touches your page at all is about two kilobytes of code whose entire job is to open that box. It cannot fetch anything, store anything or read anything, and the release fails if it ever tries.

It waits for your shop to load first.
2 KB
is all that lands on your page — roughly a hundredth of one product photograph. The player itself loads inside its own sealed frame.
1 line
of code in your theme. That is the whole of the installation, and you only do it once.
0 files
of your theme changed to swap a video. Nothing to redeploy, and nothing for a developer to do afterwards.

One of these is asked to arrive first. It is not the heavy one.
Your shop loads first. Ours loads after. The player waits until the browser has finished with your page. It is not allowed to hold up anything a shopper is waiting to see.
It cannot shove your page around. It sits in front of the page rather than in it, so nothing moves when it arrives. Search engines count that shifting about against you, and we measure ours at zero.
Search engines see the page you already had. Nothing on your page is rewritten, wrapped or moved. Your headings, your text and your product details are exactly as they were.
Shoppers who come back pay nothing for it. Every release lives at its own permanent address, so a returning shopper’s browser already has it and does not fetch it twice.
A phone video is far too big to send to a shopper.

Two sizes, made for you
A small one for the corner and a larger one for full screen. If you upload something small to begin with, we leave it alone rather than blowing it up.
It starts straight away
Playback begins on the first part of the file to arrive, so a shopper is not staring at a black square waiting for the whole thing to download.
The good one only when it is needed
The corner plays the small version and swaps to the larger one the moment someone opens it full screen — carrying on from the same second rather than starting again.
Change the video without touching your shop.
- 01Give each clip a name, a description and the product page it belongs to
- 02Keep drafts private, and watch them without adding to your numbers
- 03Every version is kept, so a swap you regret is one click from undone
- 04See how each clip did — and which of your pages it did well on

One number you will not find
There is no “percentage watched”. The corner clip loops, so a browser never reports it as finished, and any completion rate we showed you would be one we made up. You get four counts that mean exactly what they say.
You pay for what it costs to send.
